Bad Homburg

The weekend was wonderful. My roommate's girlfriend, Julia, invited me to stay over for the weekend at her place. A real german place finally! Instead of crying in the cave that I live in, I've decided to go for a treat and see one of the wealthiest cities in Germany. Bad Homburg. The castle were used by emperors for showers, and now it's known for its therapeutic spa treatments. (No fastfood restaurants are allowed to be built in this city!)

Julia's house has everything! It's really beautiful like her and the food that she made warms my stomach and heart. I heart her and I hope Ilari doesnt read my blog.
Anyway, we went to stadel museum to see Sandro Botticelli! It was really an amazing experience as I had to wait in cold for an hour! haha...but really, the past masters of art are perfectionist that brough paintings to life, making modern artists who likes mix-medias and shit look like idiots.

Then for the new year's eve dinner, they brought me to Mai-Tai! It's a vietnamese-thai restaurant. What's funny was that the owners of the restaurant were sort of intimidated by the asian and thus did everything the original way, small bowl of rice, a small plate for each person and chopsticks, no forks! (i prefer using forks)

It was a very good weekend.

Berlin!!

Berlin was great in many ways. We took at 10hours (omg kill me)of train ride, getting pissed at some irritating companion (omg kill her). Finally we arrived to City Hostel Berlin (Comfortable, clean and cheap, recommended by Gilbert from citi) =) On the first day, we went for a free walking tour in Berlin. The tour guide is paid on tips basis and this was recommended by my dear Ivan (from citi too) On the 2nd day, we spent a day in the concentration camp and it gets really creepy when the sun goes down. 200,000 people died there! Freak. But the snow and cold makes the place seem so tranquil and nice.

Clubbing was horrible. All the caucasians and europeans could get in. Not anybody else. Freaking racists. Oh well. I enjoying Berlin pretty much! =)
