Bad Homburg

The weekend was wonderful. My roommate's girlfriend, Julia, invited me to stay over for the weekend at her place. A real german place finally! Instead of crying in the cave that I live in, I've decided to go for a treat and see one of the wealthiest cities in Germany. Bad Homburg. The castle were used by emperors for showers, and now it's known for its therapeutic spa treatments. (No fastfood restaurants are allowed to be built in this city!)

Julia's house has everything! It's really beautiful like her and the food that she made warms my stomach and heart. I heart her and I hope Ilari doesnt read my blog.
Anyway, we went to stadel museum to see Sandro Botticelli! It was really an amazing experience as I had to wait in cold for an hour! haha...but really, the past masters of art are perfectionist that brough paintings to life, making modern artists who likes mix-medias and shit look like idiots.

Then for the new year's eve dinner, they brought me to Mai-Tai! It's a vietnamese-thai restaurant. What's funny was that the owners of the restaurant were sort of intimidated by the asian and thus did everything the original way, small bowl of rice, a small plate for each person and chopsticks, no forks! (i prefer using forks)

It was a very good weekend.
